As you know the documentary "The Cove", is being shown in Taiji. A lot of the movie theatre owners feel threatened, and offended. In no way they should feel this way. This isn't there fault, just because it's happening in their country doesn't mean we should put labels on the Japanese people. In Canada we slaughter seals, and this isn't the doing of all of Canada, it's a certain group of people. I think it's offensive that the Japanese movie theatre owners don't want to show "The Cove" in their theatres. That just shows you don't care about what's happening in your own country. You should feel proud that you're standing up for what you believe in. Don't feel ashamed. Because change is good, and it only needs to start with one person. Some movie theatres have even banned showing the documentary just because it makes their country look bad. I would much rather show the people of Japan what is happening, rather then keeping it a secret, because one day it will come out.
