Some people need to open their eyes to what they see.
Some people need to open their eyes to what they hear.
Some people just need to open their hearts to what they feel.
Some people need to open their eyes to what they hear.
Some people just need to open their hearts to what they feel.

Marine Land
As you sit innocently watching the playful dolphins splashing about in the pool. Looking happier then ever, as they jump so high you think they can touch the sky. How playful and joyful they look swimming beside their trainers, almost as if it's a bonding friends ship. The only thing you don't know, is that it's not all perfect. That smile that makes you all warm inside, isn't real. The affection between the trainer and the dolphin, is just what is made up of starvation. How do you get a dolphin to do those jumps through rings. Do you think they do it as an instinct? Common sense. How would you like it be trapped in an aquarium, when your used too travelling miles a day though the fresh ocean water? It's disgusting. You know what's even more disgusting. Trainers go to Taiji, Japan and pick the dolphin they want to train, knowing that the rest will be brutally slaughtered. "Everyone loves Marine Land," whatever. I absolutely hate Marine Land. I haven't even been there and I still hate it. No way am I going to support a place where they put animals in captivity. From the documentary "The Cove", O'berry stated "You have to understand dolphins are not automatic air breathers like we are. Every breath for them is a conscious effort. She looked me right in the eye, took a deep breath, held it - and she didn't take another." Dolphins have the intelligence to commit suicide. He is right, dolphins breathing is not instinctual, and when you get a story about a dolphin committing suicide. What message does that give out? These animals use their voice and hearing to communicate with others, and when you're stuck in a tank with a roaring crowd of cheering fans, it messes with your head. Sometimes so bad that they kill themselves. Wow, that just says that the stress level is so intense that the only alternative option is to die. I feel helpless. I can't do anything about it. I guess I'm like a lot of other people, they don't know what to do. I have no idea what I can do to help. I so badly want to help, but I can't. As Ric O'Berry said "if we can't fix this, we won't be able to fix anything." We have to focus on the problems that may seem small, until we can move on. If we can't help what can't speak, then I don't want to help what can.
